Sex Offender Registry

A statewide sex offender registry is available online at the Arkansas Crime Information Center website. The ACIC registry is searchable by county and only has data on level 3 and 4 (high risk) offenders.

The Independence County Sheriff's Department does not publish a sex offender registry online. However, a registry is available at the Independence County Sheriff's Department in the Criminal Investigations Division building.

A printed sex offender registry may be viewed in person Monday through Friday (except holidays) between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM. You must be at least 18 years old and have photo identification. If you are under 18 you must bring a parent or guardian with you. You may not be a registered sex offender yourself. You must state a purpose for viewing the sex offender registry. You may not make copies of the sex offender registry. The information you obtain from the sex offender registry is for your personal information only. It is unlawful for you to use this information for harassment or any other purpose.
